As a Staff Accountant, Amy works with a wide variety of clients. In her position, she assists businesses with their everyday bookkeeping needs, which includes services such as accounting software guidance, payroll support, and financial report preparation. She is also one of our tax specialists and prepares many tax returns for our firm. During her time at our firm, Amy has developed a passion for working with non-profit agencies and therefore is our lead accountant for these companies.
Amy obtained her Associate Degree from Southwestern Michigan College and is working to complete her Bachelor’s Degree through Ferris State University. After graduation, Amy plans to obtain her CPA license. She is currently a member of the Young Professionals of Greater Dowagiac where she is the Chairperson for the Fireworks. In her free time, Amy and her husband David enjoy spending as much time as possible on the lake fishing, kayaking, or just being out on the water.
